came to Jakarta
My great grandmother was the grand daughter of a cook of the Hyderabad Nawab's army.
The Nawab wanted a dish that is practical to cook in a battlefield, a dish which would be delicious & nutricious, his Indo-persian kitchen came up with Biryani.
When I took my Indo-Arab wife to meet her, she was inspired by the dish and the story behind it. She learnt the recipe out of love for me and my obsession with my great grandma's original.
Now we are ready to spread the love in Jakarta with the dish that has over a 300year history spanning from medival age Arabia to modern age Hyderabad.
